Author: Madeleine Gottlieb Boskovitz, PhD

I am a Licensed Psychologist, in the State of Texas, working with children, teens, adults, elderly persons. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I am currently in private practice but have also worked in the schools, community organizations, nursing homes, and the VA Hospital in the past. My approach to therapy includes a psychodynamic understanding of human development: this means that all experiences serve to shape your life. Early experiences are particularly significant as they help you form your personality and affect the way you cope with difficulties. I treat the whole person, fostering your strengths as these are the ones that will assist you in resolving your difficulties. This approach to treatment not only leads to a quick start in improving your life but also to improved skills in solving your present and future problems. With this sound training, your improvement continues to grow after you have completed your therapy.
